Ambulance 729 Ambulance 729 is one of five Type III ambulances operated by the Bridgeton Fire Department. Two ambulances are staffed at all times by EMTs. During peak times or special events a third ambulance may be staffed by EMTs. During major emergencies, EMTs can be called back to staff more units as needed. Available firefighters can also staff ambulances if needed when demand is high.
